The project will explore <strong>imprinted gene expression during mammalian development<\/strong>, with a particular emphasis on the role of long non-coding RNAs in chromatin structuration. Murine embryonic stem cells are used as a main model, in the context of ANR and INCa funded research programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must have a recent <strong>Ph.D. degree in developmental or molecular biology <\/strong>and prior experience with bioinformatics is preferable.<br>The successful candidate will join the \u2018Imprinting and Development\u2019 team within the dynamic setting of the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"IGMM (s\u2019ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.igmm.cnrs.fr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">IGMM<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"LabEx EpiGenMed (s\u2019ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.epigenmed.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\">LabEx EpiGenMed<\/a> and Montpellier <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"BioCampus (s\u2019ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.biocampus.cnrs.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\">BioCampus<\/a>, in the vibrant Mediterranean city of Montpellier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>For relevant publications, see Cell reports 22, 337 (2018), Cell reports 18, 1791 (2017), Genome Research 26, 192 (2016) and Developmental Cell 31, 19 (2014).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funding for this position, starting early 2019, is for 2 years initially.
