Research activities at the IBDM synergistically connect developmental biology with molecular, cell and computational biology, as well as evolution, neurobiology, physiology, physiopathology, biophysics, and cancer. The&nbsp;<strong>IBDM uniquely fosters interdisciplinary approaches&nbsp;<\/strong>by its intimate connections with various research-training networks&nbsp;within the Aix-Marseille University (AMU) (<a href=\"https:\/\/centuri-livingsystems.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CenTuri<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/neuro-marseille.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NeuroMarseille<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.univ-amu.fr\/en\/public\/institute-cancer-and-immunology-cancer-immuno\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ICI<\/a>&nbsp;(Cancer-Immuno),&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.univ-amu.fr\/en\/public\/institute-marseille-rare-diseases-marmara\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MarMaRa<\/a>&nbsp;(Rare-Diseases),&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.univ-amu.fr\/en\/public\/institute-marseille-imaging\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Marseille Imaging<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/canceropole-paca.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cancerop\u00f4le-PACA<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IBDM, affiliated with CNRS and AMU, strongly benefits from its&nbsp;<strong>collaborative and international scientific culture<\/strong>, English working language, and its fantastic environment on the Marseille Luminy campus, located in the heart of the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.calanques-parcnational.fr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Calanques National Park<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IBDM is committed to&nbsp;<strong>promoting<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>equality, diversity and inclusivity<\/strong>.
