I enjoyed this Shaping Life meeting, as I learned and heard about several new topics of developmental biology.
I particularly remember the first keynote speaker Alfonso Martinez-Arias, that showed us that ES cells can be used to generate gastruloids that self-organize and polarize. It challenged the way I looked at in vitro system models, and gastruloids or organoids are really a tool I would like to use during my post-doctoral investigations.
