Finalist Thesis Prize SFBD 2018: Dr. Gantas Perez-Mockus

In 2018, the SFBD chose Gantas Perez-Mockus as finalist of the thesis prize for his doctorate entitled: « Regulation of apical basal polarity and mesoderm invagination by the E3 ubiquitin ligase Neuralized in Drosophila ». His work was published in Journal of Cell Biology in 2017, Nature Communications in 2017 as well as a review in Bio Essays in 2017.

Gantas Perez-Mockus did his doctorate under the direction of Dr. François Schweisguth in the laboratory « Drosophila Developmental Genetics » at the Pasteur Institute, in Paris.
