Baptiste Tesson, Shaping Life 2, Online Conference, 7-9 April 2021

The Shaping Life 2 seminar was a great opportunity to me as a PhD student. It allowed me to present my work to other scientists both in and out of my study field. They provided me with great advices about my future projects.

Most of the talks and posters also allowed me to broaden my knowledge about state of the art of developmental biology. Two talks particularly caught my attention. The first one given by Alfonso Martinez-Arias describing the use of organoïds to better understand such a fondamental event as gastrulation taught me a lot. The second one given by Aurelien Villedieu allowed me to identify new morphological changes in my own fly embryos.
