PhD Student at IBDM, Marseille

I am thankful for being given the opportunity of presenting my PhD work at The Shaping Life 2 conference, where I also had the opportunity to discover the projects being performed in the developmental biology field.  

During my PhD, I have been inspired by the work of several scientists in the field, among which the work of Denis Jabaudon. His lab studies the molecular and genetic programs controlling cortical neuronal circuit formation, by employing innovative approaches, so it was indeed a great opportunity for me to learn about his current work.

In addition, I really enjoyed the talk given by Alfonso Martinez-Arias, the first keynote speaker, that talked about his career on studying ES cells. Even not being the topic of my research, I found it an amazing talk, inspiring, and enriched by a great sense of humor.
